WASTE: Improving Waste Management Through Community Engagement

Climate change is affecting Thailand, Canada, and countries around the world in ways we are just beginning to understand. We must continue learning and working together to better adapt and build resilience. While some challenges seem overwhelming, we can create awareness and solve important local issues.
 
Join the Canada Fund for Local Initiatives and friends at The Fort for an event to discuss improving waste management though community engagement. The event will include an opening address from the Canadian Charge d'Affaires to Thailand, a screening of the documentary "Dream of a Green City" directed by Changing Climate, Changing Lives (CCCL), and a series of speakers.

Special interactive booths will also feature products by:

Refreshments will be available by Dot's Coffee, a shop operated entirely by persons with visual impairments.

This event will be held in Thai language with English interpretation available. It is open to the public and free of charge. Please register in advance for the chance to receive a special gift from the Canadian Embassy.
