On July 14, 2026,  The Fort hosted a workshop led by Fortify Rights team member, an experienced international advocate and renowned author, where he shared the skills needed to become an effective advocate for communities or causes. Participants learned skills they can apply to their own advocacy and communications work—from engaging important decision-makers and working with the media to communicating with regional and international actors.

On June 18, 2026,  The Fort hosted a report launch and panel discussion organized by the Youth Congress Rohingya (YCR), a Rohingya refugee-led, camp-based organization, for the report, From Arrival to Survival: Conditions of Newly Arrived Rohingya Refugees in Bangladesh.

On March 13, 2026, The Fort hosted a film-screening organized by Fortify Rights of the film, followed by a thought-provoking discussion with guest speakers offering diverse perspectives: human rights and firsthand insights, and conflict and peace through film and movie production.

On December 19, 2025,  The Fort hosted an event featuring a discussion on Malaysia’s current approach to refugees, the situation of Rohingya survivors in Thailand, and assess the effectiveness of the actions of Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and its members. Speakers explored the recent drivers of forced displacement and the impact of Malaysia’s punitive policies on refugees in the country.
