The Fort Films: “Lost Land”

On September 29, 2025, The Fort hosted The Fort Films: “Lost Land” Film-Screening Followed by Group Discussion on Protection Pathway for Rohingya in Thailand.

Fortify Rights and Think-Film Impact Production presented an exclusive preview of “Lost Land,” a powerful new feature film that follows two Rohingya siblings fleeing a refugee camp in Bangladesh in search of safety and a new life in Malaysia. Starring Rohingya actors and rooted in real-life testimonies, the film captures the trauma, statelessness, and resilience Rohingya children face in their lives. Its core message is simple: every child deserves a nation they can call home.
