Effective Advocacy for Change: A Workshop for Human Rights Defenders and Changemakers

On July 14, 2026,  The Fort hosted a workshop led by a Fortify Rights team member, an experienced international advocate and renowned author, where he shared the skills needed to become an effective advocate for communities or causes. Participants learned skills they can apply to their own advocacy and communications work—from engaging important decision-makers and working with the media to communicating with regional and international actors.
