The Fort Supports Podcast on Abuse in Thailand's Military Conscription Program

(BANGKOK, May 7, 2025)—On May 7, 2025, The Fort provided space for the Thai human rights organization, the Cross-Cultural Foundation (CrCF), to record the fourth podcast episodes of its podcast series, “The Missing Truth.” The fourth episode highlights Thailand's military conscription program and reports of conscripts dying, being tortured, and enforced disappearances.

This initiative followed an earlier podcast production training session held on August 21, 2024, where The Fort hosted a workshop conducted by Fortify Rights for CrCF team members. The training covered podcasting fundamentals such as scripting, recording techniques, sound editing, and audience engagement strategies. It aimed to equip CrCF with the skills necessary to use storytelling as a powerful tool for human rights advocacy.
