Meeting to Promote Upcoming Queer Performance Arts Festival in Thailand

On March 29, 2025, The Fort hosted a private meeting between H0m0Haus, a Thai queer performing art festival, and media outlets. During the meeting, H0m0Haus shared information about their upcoming festival in June 2025 with the hope that members of the media will promote the event. More than 30 people joined the meeting.

Last June, The Fort hosted an in-person event organized by H0M0HAUS featuring two panel discussions. The first panel discussion included Thai queer theater artists of different generations, who will discuss their work to promote diversity in Thailand. The second panel discussion included directors of prominent Thai performing arts festivals, who discussed gender-related issues in the country’s arts scene. The event also included an exhibition showcasing the history of queer performing arts in Thailand. Read more about this event here.
